How to reduce pet allergens?
My husband is allergic to our cat. We can't get rid of him (he's part of the family!) but want to learn about ways to reduce the potential for allergic reactions. Any ideas?

Well, if you can't get rid of the cat (or the husband, for that matter!) there are definitely a few ways that can help you all get along together more easily, and hopefully with less sneezing. You can: purchase an air filter (Alpine Air puts out a good one), seek the help of an allergist (to identify and reduce the presence of exactly the allergen that is irritating your husband), keep the cat in a separate part of the house and/or wash the cat regularly (this could be a tough job) to eliminate some of the dander.
